How Elected

From the OUSA Constitution

10. EXECUTIVE

There shall be an Executive Committee which shall administer OUSA between OUSA Conferences, in accordance with the policy laid down by OUSA Conference.

a. MEMBERSHIP
The Executive Committee shall consist of the following:

(i). the President and Deputy President of OUSA;

(ii). the elected Vice Presidents of OUSA (viz. Vice President Constitutions, Vice President Education, Vice President Equal Opportunities, Vice President Finance, Vice President Representation, and Vice President Student Support);

(iii). the Executive Committee Members representing geographical areas (viz.
Executive Committee Member for London,
Executive Committee Member for the South,
Executive Committee Member for the South West,
Executive Committee Member for the West Midlands,
Executive Committee Member for the East Midlands,
Executive Committee Member for East Anglia,
Executive Committee Member for Yorkshire,
Executive Committee Member for the North West,
Executive Committee Member for the North,
Executive Committee Member for Wales,
Executive Committee Member for Scotland,
Executive Committee Member for Northern Ireland,
Executive Committee Member for the South East,
Executive Committee Member for the Republic of Ireland,
Executive Committee Member for Southern Europe.

(iv). the Societies Standing Committee representative;

(v). the members elected to represent OUSA on the University Council;

(vi). the Executive Committee Member for Student Academic Links

The Executive Committee (EC) is OUSA's central body with responsibility for carrying out the decisions of Conference. It is chaired by the President. All Executive Committee members are delegates to Conference and the EC can send motions to Conference.
