The Open University Students Educational Trust (OUSET)

OUSET is a registered charity (Charity no. 285189) administered by OUSA. The fund helps students who have been unable, for whatever reason, to obtain funding from the University's own financial award system. It can help with items from fees to stationery & books and may well make the difference between a student being able to complete their studies or having to give up.

Fund Raising
Events are organised by OUSA as a body, by the Branches or by individuals. Much fund raising is carried out at the OU Residential Schools (Summer Schools).

Fund raising activities are often colourful, light-hearted or even energetic! Previous Biennial Fundraising has included a cycle ride across Scotland, climbing Ben Nevis, running the London marathon and walking to Conference. This year we are taking a more leisurely pace.

Every two years, in between the biennial Open Days at Milton Keynes, there is a national fund raising event organised by OUSA.
